Chicken Karahi

Ingredients

  • A little cooking oil

  • 2 tbsp QBB Ghee

  • 3 red onion seeds

  • 3 garlic cloves (mashed)

  • 1/2 inch ginger (mashed)

  • 1 tomato seed (cut into cubes)

  • 4 chicken pieces (cut into small pieces)

  • 1 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tbsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1/2 tsp sweet cumin

  • 1/2 tsp white cumin

  • A little water

  • Salt

  • Sugar

  • Seasoning powder/mushroom seasoning

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat oil and QBB Ghee.

  2. 2. Add onion, stir until fragrant and wilted add garlic and ginger.

  3. 3. Add tomatoes and chicken.

  4. 4. When the tomatoes are crushed and the chicken is cooked.

  5. 5. Add chilli powder, black pepper powder, coriander, cumin, and cumin.

  6. 6. Stir well and add a little water.

  7. 7. Cook until the spices are well incorporated.

  8. 8. Season with sugar, salt, and seasoning powder.

  9. 9. Finally add the soup leaves /coriander leaves.
