Ingredients

  • 200 gm Flour

  • 30 gm Corn Flour

  • 30 gm Almond powder

  • 150 gm QBB

  • 90 gm Icing sugar

  • 1 Egg yolk

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence

  • Egg yolk - for brushing

Instructions

  1. 1. Cream QBB with icing sugar, add egg yolk and vanilla essence.

  2. 2. Mix well flour, corn flour and almond powder.

  3. 3. Rub in with creamed mixture until it turns into a soft dough.

  4. 4. Rest dough for 10 minutes, roll till 3 cm thickness and cut into round or square shapes.

  5. 5. Brush with egg yolk.

  6. 6. Bake for 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 160°C.

  7. 7. Cool and store in an air tight container.
